It's always important to maintain your skin and keep it healthy by regularly cleaning your skin, getting enough beauty sleep and making sure you eat food that contains vitamins e.g fruit and vegetables.
I have to admit I often find myself procrastinating my skincare routine as it can seem dull at times, so I thought it would be a good idea to write a post on a couple of ways you can switch up your skincare routine to add something different to the generic cleanse-tone-moisturise routine.
More and more people are opting for a facial cleansing brush to incorporate into their skincare routine and it is pretty easy to see why. Facial cleansing brushes are 10x more effective at cleansing the skin rather than using your hands which means a cleaner and more clearer complexion. A brand such as Panasonic would be a great place to check out if you have never used a facial cleansing brush before as they are often featured for their innovative and unique products.
Such a tool would help make your skincare routine effortless and more effective, if your curious as to how to use one I found a great article on Allure as well as a guide from Cosmopolitan to getting the best out of a facial cleansing brush.
Another way to switch up your skin is with face masks! They are a great idea as nowadays you can find a face mask for pretty much anything and everything so your honestly spoilt for choice when choosing a face mask. From my experience, I have always loved Lush Fresh Face Masks as they have quite a varied range for different skin types and concerns.
A good suggestion if your new to face masks is the Don't Look At Me Mask from Lush. I think it would be super fun to use in your skincare routine as the bright blue colour alone is enough to make you smile and has a very invigorating smell!
Let me know how you like to break the normal routine of your skincare. Is there any interesting tools you incorporate into your skincare? What type of steps do you take in your skincare routine? Have you tried any of the products above or similar? I would love to hear any tips!
