Bh Cosmetics Carli Bybel Palette Review + Swatches

When Carli Bybel came out with her palette last year I was determined to try it and now I finally have my hands on it. I am a sucker for neutral eyeshadows so I already knew I was going to love this palette. The palette includes 10 eyeshadows with a mix of shimmers and mattes as well as 4 highlighter shades which is very useful! I paid $18 in total for the palette and shipping. The shipping process was relatively quick and I received the palette after about 6-7 days.

The palette itself is quite sleek, extremely light and not bulky at all therefore making it travel-friendly! There are 5 matte and 5 shimmer eyeshadows in the palette, all are very beautiful versatile neutral and plum shades. Is the pigmentation good? I would say the eye-shadows do have good pigmentation although I do feel you would need to dip your brush/finger into the eyeshadows a couple of times to get amazing consistency and prevent any patchiness.

I do recommend using a primer like the Urban Decay Primer Potion to give the eye-shadows a base and something to hold onto so their longevity is increased! Another thing I would advise is to apply using your fingers as I find quite a few of them are creamy! That being said, I only have to put in minimal effort to blend them seeing as they blend like a dream!

Moving onto the highlighters, there are four very pretty and creamy highlighter shades that just glide onto your skin. If you are going for a full-blown highlight then apply with your finger and just pat over your cheekbones or if you just want to have an everyday highlight then use a tapered face brush to accentuate your cheekbones. It is quite handy to have highlighters in this palette as it means less luggage when travelling and saves me money as I tend to purchase highlighters separately.

If your an eyeshadow palette fanatic or maybe your obsessed with neutrals like me well then this is the palette for you. It's a great palette for every day use and definitely something I find myself reaching for often. In my opinion it is worth the price and with a primer this palette is perfect.

Do you think this palette is worth it? What is your favourite shade? Will you be purchasing/do you own one yourself? As ever I love to know what you guys think so do not forget to let me know in the comments!
