The Sweet Club Review

If your like me and have a sweet tooth then you will love The Sweet Club, they are a monthly subscription service where you can choose up to 8 sweets to go into your box. I have been on the lookout for a company like this for a while seeing as I can't resist subscription boxes so I thought why not try a box and I am glad I did! The range of sweets is extremely varied and is sure to not disappoint, such examples are USA Candy, Jelly Belly Beans, Popcorn and Chocolate but there is much more to be discovered! What I like about this company is that you can vary when you would like your box to be delivered, you can choose for it to be delivered either fortnightly or monthly. The usual price of the box per month is £9.95 or £8.25 every fortnight however your first box is £7.95 and delivery is free if you live in the Uk but they do ship Worldwide!

The Sweets I chose:
  • M&M's Crispy (2x)
  • Kinder Surprise Eggs (2x)
  • Candyfloss lollipops (2x)
  • Oreos Original
  • Hostess Twinkie
  • A selection of Jelly Belly Beans in Blueberry, Bubble Gum, Buttered Popcorn and Caffe Latte
  • Sugar-free Strawberries
  • Blue Raspberry Paint Balls

This is definitely a company I will stay subscribed to as its nice to have a little treat every now and then, as well as this I can sample sweets that sometimes can be be hard to find e.g Twinkies, Reeses Pieces. I also like how beautifully packaged the box came and that they gave me a short introduction to the company. Delivery for me was quite quick I believe it took only 2-3 days to arrive and there was no problems at all with the service itself so that is always a positive. In addition to all of this if you email your testimonial and it gets used on their website they will send you a surprise gift! How great is that?! I hope you enjoyed this review, check out their website down below for yourself! Since it is coming up to Christmas you could even buy this for your self or someone else as a gift!

* I am not in anyway sponsored by The Sweet Club. I paid for this with my own money. All opinions are my own.

Birchbox November 2014

Another month means another Birchbox, this months theme is 'Cosy Up'. As the cold nights set in and the weather gets worse, this months Birchbox is designed to keep you feeling happy regardless of the season. This month came with 5 products (1 full-size) and a lifestyle treat which I couldn't resist eating. If you are unsure what Birchbox is, it is a monthly subscription service which sends you 4-5 sample sized products and sometimes even a lifestyle treat. It costs £12.95 per month (a link will be down below should you want to sign up). In my opinion this subscription service is more for people who like to try before you buy.

        This month I received:

  • English Laundry - One of the things I hate receiving in subscription boxes is perfume samples unless they are presented properly. Sadly I didn't like this scent either.
  • Beauty Protector Protect and Detangle - I've seen this raved about on many YouTube videos and I've always been curious to try this brand out. I like that this product helps to detangle as sometimes after I wash my hair it can be a total mess and I just want to get through it as quickly as possible. With this spray I find myself taking a lot less time to brush through my hair and will certainly be purchasing the full size of this.
  • Lord & Berry in Sienna - Sometimes a bronzer can come off way too orange or can be difficult to blend in but this bronzer is soo light that you can build it up gradually. I also liked that this bronzer came in a colour that I can pull off as sometimes with my fair skin it can be much too harsh for me but I am glad to say it works well.
  • Weleda Wild Rose Body Oil - This is the first Weleda product I have ever had! I haven't had a chance to try it out yet as I am still using up my Nuxe oil so when I review Decembers Birchbox I will let you know how that is going.
  • Dr. Jart + V7 Balancing Toner - Another well known and talked about brand! I quite like to use this before I go sleep as when I wake up I feel as though I have a nice little glow. As another positive it is full-size!
  • Montezuma's Mini Bar - Who doesn't like chocolate? Obviously when I received my box I was a little bit hungry so I couldn't resist munching the whole thing. I have already checked out the full range at Birchbox's online shop and will be ordering some of their chocolate for the Christmas period.

All in all I quite enjoyed this months box! It definitely put a smile on my face and if you receive Birchbox then you know receiving it is always a joyous experience. Despite the perfume sample all of this months products will have some use out of them. If you haven't already signed up for this months Birchbox then click on the link below to join.
